May 1, 2013 -There is a major construction project happening on our road right now. They are putting "chip seal" on the road. This basically means they are tarring and graveling the road. It will be virtually un-skateable. That means the race is canceled for this year. We'll look into it for future years.
June 4, 2012 -It was a very wet race, but it didn't dampen racer's spirits. The rain made things very challenging to race in. It added a new degree of difficulty to this already challenging hill. There were a lot of crashes due to the wet but only a couple minor bumps and bruises. Most of the racers were fast and competitive, but William Royce had solid and flawless runs which resulted in victory. Full race results are up on the results page. -Thanks to all the racers, volunteers and spectators for another successful race.
